JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading Tier 1 US Investment Bank is proactively looking to hire a Senior Quant Developer to expand the Equity Derivatvies desk’s flow trading capabilities.

Responsibilities include C++ (objected orientated) implementation, working on cutting edge libraries. This position will require excellent communication skills and previous leadership experience is preferred.  Strong programming and Quant skills are essential.

Location:  London, United Kingdom

The role:

• C++ Implementation – covering quantitative development for Equity derivatives and automated market making.
• 360 degrees of quantitative development – fine tuning the existing global analytics libraries at every stage.
• Working entirely in their Front Office alongside fellow quant developers, pricing quants, technology and traders.
• Closely collaborating with a team of quants analysts and developers to ensure progress is achieved.
• Development of relative value models for market making of derivatives
• Development of algorithmic systems to submit orders to cash and derivatives exchanges

Requirements:

• A strong ability to implement on the analytics library with C++ (object orientated programming).
• Hands on approach – a real passion to be involved with cutting edge technology.
• A quantitative PhD/MSc from a top school along with a very quant focused thesis.
• A computer science or computational physics/computational maths background would be the ideal.
• Excellent communication skills and learning aptitude.
• A passion for coding along with the technical ability to implement extremely fast.
